One moment the streets are hot, sticky, and oppressive and the next the whole city is shot through with cold fall wind and crisp leaves. Perhaps we'll get some more warm days in September but as far as this week is concerned, fall has taken over.
I am caught somewhere between mourning and delight. I want to revel in the sunshine a little bit longer but I also feel myself breathing in relief and excitement as I wrap a scarf around my neck and plunge out into the crisp streets.
